Please note that registration for this event will give you access to all four sessions listed below, it is preferred that delegates attend all four sessions. Joining information will be sent for each session separately by email, in advance of each session.

The ‘Keeping Trauma in Mind’ programme is a series of 4 twilight sessions which will provide educators from all sectors with an opportunity to understand the impact of trauma and develop trauma responsive strategies to support children and young people affected by psychological trauma.

Delegates will gain most benefit from attending all 4 sessions and will have access to presentations and opportunities to network with educators from across Scotland.

The sessions will be led by Education Scotland staff.

Session 1: Keeping Trauma in Mind, 24th May, 16:00 - 17:30

Session 2: Recognising and Responding to Trauma, 31st May, 16:00 - 17:30

Session 3: Self-regulation, 7th June, 16:00 - 17:30

Session 4: Traumatic Bereavement, 14th June, 16:00 - 17:30

Target Audience - Please be aware that the target audience for this event is for professionals within the Education Sector in Scotland and to register for the event please enter either a school/establishment/local authority or Glow email address. If you work in Scottish education and would like to attend, but do not have a glow or work email address please email with the name of your setting or service, to request a place. Thank you for your understanding.

Ticket allocation - It is not possible to transfer your booking to anyone else. If you are unable to attend please cancel your booking to free up a space for another participant to attend. Please remember that for security purposes it is very important that you do not share event information with anyone else to provide them access to this event.
