This introductory session, for NQTs and early career practitioners in Tayside, is relevant to all settings and will:
- explore what are gender stereotypes and unconscious bias and what impact do these have on attainment, participation and wellbeing?
- highlight strategies and practical approaches that help to address this including examples of good practice.
- give an overview of STEM and outline the new STEM Nation Awards
- include opportunities for interaction and the chance to reflect on equality and STEM within your own practice/setting.
Target Audience - Please be aware that the target audience for this event is for professionals within the Education Sector in Scotland and to register for the event please enter either a school/establishment/local authority or Glow email address.
